JUI-F urges halt to Bajaur operation

The Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Fazl (JUI-F) leadership has demanded an immediate end to the ongoing operation in Bajaur, warning of further action if their demands are not met within three days.

Addressing a press conference at Bajaur Press Club, JUI district chief and former senator Maulana Abdul Rashid, accompanied by Tehsil Nazim Haji Syed Badshah, General Secretary Maulana Muhammad Laeeq, Haji Akbar Jan and other party leaders, urged the government to halt the military operation in Mamond tehsil and ensure the dignified return of displaced families to their homes.

He alleged that serious irregularities had been reported in the distribution of food and relief items, calling on the provincial government to take immediate notice.
