Jake Paul vs. Gervonta Davis reportedly set for November Netflix exhibition bout

A high-profile exhibition boxing match between Jake Paul and Gervonta “Tank” Davis is reportedly in the works, with Netflix expected to broadcast the event. According to a report by Ring Magazine, the bout is slated for November 15 at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia — marking exactly one year since Paul’s previous Netflix headliner against Mike Tyson.
Though Netflix has not yet officially confirmed the event, a now-deleted post from Netflix’s Turkey account briefly listed the same details. Meanwhile, the reported venue currently shows a scheduling conflict, as it is booked for comedian Nate Bargatze’s “Big Dumb Eyes” tour on that date, Uncrowned reports.
Jake Paul (12-1, 7 KOs), the YouTuber-turned-boxer, recently secured a unanimous decision victory over former world champion Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. in June, earning his first official world ranking. Paul had previously been linked to a potential bout with former heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua, but negotiations reportedly fell through due to broadcast network complications.
Gervonta Davis (30-0-1, 28 KOs), a two-division world champion, was expected to rematch Lamont Roach following a controversial draw in March. However, the rematch was shelved after Davis faced a misdemeanor domestic violence charge in July. The case was dismissed last week when the alleged victim declined to press charges. Roach, speaking to Boxing Scene, said he is "moving on" from a rematch, citing a lack of interest from Davis’ camp.
While Davis holds a clear edge in experience and skill, Paul will likely enter the ring with a significant size advantage — possibly over 50 pounds. Nakisa Bidarian, co-founder of Paul’s Most Valuable Promotions, downplayed the current reports, stating, “Amazing how ‘sources’ have it confirmed but have it wrong.”
