A rickshaw driver stabbed a young man to death with knives over a minor dispute.

The police took the body and shifted it to the hospital and started searching for the accused who fled.

Police said Mudassir, a resident of Chak 279 RB Lambranwala Chowk, had a dispute with the driver of a rickshaw, Aftab, a resident of Arshad Town. The accused Aftab stabbed Mudassir on the side of the heart and seriously injured him. He was shifted to General Hospital Ghulam Muhammadabad after medical assistance, where Mudassir died of his injuries.

After receiving information, ASP Gulberg and SHO Razabad Khawaja Imran Manan reached the spot, took the body of the deceased and started searching for the rickshaw driver who fled.

Meanwhile, two people, including a seven-year-old boy, have been killed in separate road accidents. The bodies were handed over to their families after legal formalities, and cases have been registered.

According to police, in the Sattara Colony area of Samanabad, Rehman was travelling on a motorcycle when three other motorcyclists, allegedly riding recklessly, collided with him. He fell and sustained a severe head injury. After receiving initial medical aid, he was moved to hospital, where he later died. Police took the body into custody before handing it over to his family.
