
Police arrested about 20 shopkeepers selling horns and other noisy instruments, seized their merchandise and registered cases against them.
SHO of Ghulam Muhammad Abad police station, Rana Rashed Mahmood, led raids at Medina, Kabootaranwala and Raja Chowks, arresting over a dozen shopkeepers. Cases were registered against them.
Meanwhile, SHO of Millat Town Mazhar Irfan arrested shopkeepers Shabbir, Jameel, Faizan, Asad and Ramzan, and seized dozens of toys from their possession. The police registered separate cases against the arrested suspects under the Punjab Sound Act.
