David Dobrik targeted in home break-in while inside with friends

YouTuber David Dobrik revealed his Los Angeles home was broken into while he and friends were inside.

YouTuber David Dobrik has revealed that his Los Angeles home was broken into while he and several friends were inside.

The incident, shared in his August 12 vlog, included security camera footage showing at least three intruders entering the property.

The break-in reportedly occurred while Dobrik and his friends were inside. One roommate initially assumed it was part of a prank, not realizing the situation was genuine. Dobrik later showed the aftermath, with his closet and drawers visibly ransacked.

“Security is already on the phone with you guys,” Dobrik can be heard telling police in the vlog as the suspects fled. The YouTuber noted that the trio exited the same way they entered — through the backyard — avoiding security positioned at the front of the house.

It remains unclear whether the intruders stole any valuables before escaping. Dobrik has not confirmed losses but indicated the damage may prompt upgrades to his home security measures. The incident highlights ongoing safety concerns faced by high-profile online creators in Los Angeles.
