The South Punjab Secretariat is spearheading development in governance, infrastructure, education, and socio-economic progress, said Special Secretary Higher Education Sarfraz Ahmad.

Briefing a PMS officers' delegation, he highlighted projects in livestock, halal meat exports, and cotton production.

The secretariat has implemented a region-wide electronic file system, introduced e-procurement, and hosted its first AI and IT exhibition.

Future plans include establishing an IT Park, promoting tourism, and tackling climate change challenges.

Ahmad said the initiatives aim to unlock South Punjab's full potential and enhance quality of life for its people.
