UFC moves to Paramount+ in $7.7 billion deal
UFC has agreed a $7.7 billion partnership with Paramount+ that will make all its events available on the streaming platform from January 2026, ending the pay-per-view model for its numbered cards.
The announcement was made on Monday by UFC president Dana White, confirming that the agreement covers the promotion’s full calendar of 43 annual events.
These include 30 Fight Night cards and 13 numbered events, which have traditionally been sold separately through pay-per-view.

Under the new arrangement, all events will be included in a single Paramount+ package for subscribers, marking a significant change in how the UFC’s biggest fights will be accessed.
The deal is set to begin in January 2026 and is valued at $7.7 billion over its duration, as reported by CNBC.
White described the agreement as a milestone for the promotion, saying it would give fans easier access to the sport’s top bouts without the additional cost of pay-per-view.
Following the news, a number of UFC fighters - both current and retired - have shared their reaction on social media. The controversial Conor McGregor, arguably UFC's biggest PPV draw, said his 'goodbyes' to the pay-per-view model.
