BLACKPINK’s Lisa to release ‘Dream’ short film starring Kentaro Sakaguchi

BLACKPINK’s Lisa has revealed she will release a short film inspired by her song “Dream,” with Japanese actor and model Kentaro Sakaguchi in a starring role. The visualiser will offer fans a cinematic interpretation of the song.
In her social media post revealing the project, Lisa wrote: “An emotional, beautiful story that will soon be yours.” The announcement has generated anticipation among fans worldwide, many of whom are eager to see the collaboration between the K-pop star and the acclaimed Japanese performer.
The news comes after weeks of fan speculation, sparked by a series of online interactions and public sightings linking the two.
On August 4, Lisa posted an image to LLOUD’s official X account and her Instagram showing her playfully biting someone’s arm while surrounded by a production crew.

Speculation grew when fans noted his attendance at BLACKPINK’s recent DEADLINE tour stop in Korea, as well as his appearance alongside Lisa in a popular TikTok video earlier this year.
“Dream” originally appeared as the thirteenth track on Lisa's debut album ALTER EGO, released on February 28 and the short film is set to release on August 13 at 11 pm EST.
Lisa is currently performing alongside her BLACKPINK bandmates on the ‘DEADLINE’ World Tour. The group’s next stop is a two-day engagement at Wembley Stadium in London on August 15 and 16, before heading to the Philippines.
