Plan finalised to strengthen capital security

In line with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif's directive to transform the federal capital into a crime-free city and minimise emergency response time, authorities have decided to enhance security by installing CCTV cameras at all entry and exit points and increasing police patrolling across Islamabad.

A high-level meeting was held at CDA Headquarters, chaired by Chairman CDA and Chief Commissioner Islamabad, Muhammad Ali Randhawa. The meeting was attended by Member Administration & Estate Talat Mahmood, Member Finance Tahir Naeem, Member Environment Asfandyar Baloch, Inspector General of Islamabad Police Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, Deputy Commissioner Irfan Nawaz Memon, and other senior officials.

The meeting reviewed current security arrangements and resolved to leave no stone unturned in making Islamabad a crime-free and fully secured city.
