Jennifer Lopez reportedly snubbed at Chanel store in Istanbul as guard denies entry

Jennifer Lopez was allegedly refused entry to a Chanel boutique in Istanbul but reacted with notable composure.

Jennifer Lopez was reportedly refused entry to a Chanel boutique in Istanbul this week but reacted with notable composure.

The singer and actress, currently on her 19-stop “Up All Night” summer tour, was shopping at Istinye Park, one of Turkey’s most prestigious malls, when the incident occurred, according to Turkiye Today.

A security guard at the entrance is said to have stopped the 56-year-old from entering. Rather than expressing frustration, Lopez reportedly smiled and said, “OK, no problem,” before walking away without protest.

Store employees later approached her with an invitation to return, but she politely declined.

Instead, Lopez continued her shopping trip, reportedly spending tens of thousands of dollars at neighbouring high-end brands such as Celine and Beymen.

Representatives for Lopez have not commented on the Chanel incident.

Earlier in July, Lopez marked her birthday in Turkey, sharing photos and videos of the celebration after her Antalya show.
