CJP backs citizen-focused judicial complex plan

ISLAMABAD:

Chief Justice Yahya Afridi on Monday stressed the need for a citizen-centric approach in the development of judicial infrastructure.

The chief justice made these remarks as he held a meeting with the district and sessions judges of the Karachi Division at the Sindh High Court (SHC) building. He was accompanied by Justice Junaid Ghaffar, Chief Justice of the SHC, and Justices Zafar Rajput and Iqbal Kalhoro.

According to a statement issued on Monday, the SHC chief justice apprised the top judge regarding the proposed construction of a state-of-the-art Judicial Complex in Karachi, comprising 125 fully equipped courts along with all requisite amenities.
