Netflix has released a new promotional image for Season 2 of its live-action adaptation of One Piece, confirming that Luffy and the Straw Hat Pirates will return in upcoming episodes.

The image shows Luffy smiling alongside Nami, Zoro, Usopp, and Shinji, signalling their continued journey together.

Season 2 will adapt the concluding chapters of the East Blue Saga and the initial arcs of the Alabasta Saga, marking the crew’s first major adventures in the Grand Line.

Among the storylines to be covered are key arcs such as Loguetown, Reverse Mountain, Whisky Peak, Little Garden and Drum Island.

The image accompanies a teaser for One Piece Day, taking place at Tokyo Big Sight on August 9 and 10. Although details remain under wraps, the event is expected to feature significant news about the series, such as a trailer or confirmed release plans.

Season 1 concluded with the Straw Hats defeating Arlong and embarking toward the Grand Line. Season 2 will introduce additional characters, most notably the fan-favourite Chopper, the sentient reindeer and medical expert.

The crew will also confront Baroque Works, a dangerous organisation at the centre of this next phase.

Although the official premiere date has not been confirmed, the series is scheduled for release on Netflix in 2026. The upcoming One Piece Day event is expected to unveil more exclusive content for eager fans worldwide.
