Naveena Steel Jnr Padel C'ship begins

Naveena steel National Junior Padel Championship commenced in Maidan Karachi on Thursday, with 86 participants from all over Pakistan featuring in it.
In the under-18 and under-16 caregory matches, Sindh teams displayed high quality game, overpowering their rivals with ease.
Pakistan Padel Federation in collaboration with Maidan and Sindh Padel Federation organised an Inauguration ceremony at KMC sports complex, attended by CEO of PPF Mudassar Arain, owner of Maidan Mr Usman and chief guest PPF's president Muhammad Mateen.
Addressing the ceremony CEO Mudassar Arain said this event is being conducted under the guidance of Padel Asia and International Padel Federation & all the International rules will be followed accordingly.
PPF president Mateen announced that this event will also be taken as a qualifying round for Junior World Cup which is scheduled in Spain.
"Top performers of this championship will feature in Pakistan's squad for the world event," he said.
All matches will be played on different courts of KMC Maidan while the final encounters are scheduled on Sunday.
