South Park teaser brings back Trump and Satan in new episode
Comedy Central’s South Park is heating up Season 27 with more controversy. After a wild premiere that depicted Donald Trump as Satan’s lover, the teaser for the upcoming episode—airing August 6—confirms both characters are returning.
The clip also shows Eric Cartman mocking conservative activist Charlie Kirk.

The Season 27 premiere marked the first time South Park used Donald Trump’s actual likeness, rather than portraying him through Mr. Garrison as in previous seasons. The episode used deepfake technology to animate Trump, ending with a surreal parody PSA that quickly went viral for its bizarre imagery.
Following the premiere, White House Assistant Press Secretary Taylor Rogers criticized the show, calling it "a desperate attempt for attention" and stating that South Park hasn’t been relevant in over two decades.
Despite the backlash, creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone show no signs of slowing down. The show is secured through a $1.5 billion deal with Paramount, which includes 50 new episodes and streaming rights on Paramount+.
According to co-creator Matt Stone, the delay between seasons was intentional to create distance from the last election cycle. Still, he admits the challenge of satirizing politics during election years.
The next South Park episode airs August 6, while the Season 27 premiere is currently streaming on Paramount+. The series continues to push boundaries with its bold takes on politics, religion, and pop culture.
