Vawda hails FBR for sacking official 

Senator Faisal Vawda has commended the FBR chairman for dismissing an official whose video, showing him mistreating a traffic police officer, had gone viral. 

Taking to his X account, Vawda said, “The timely suspension and dismissal of the FBR officer from his job is an expression of your good intentions for Pakistan”.  

“We have to serve the people. You want to take good steps for the country, but when the entire system is plagued with evils, it will take some time,” he added.

He termed the business community an asset for the country, adding that if they were asked to fulfil their responsibilities with respect, honour and love, they would not hesitate to perform for Pakistan.

Vawda expressed full support for the FBR chairman's positive efforts, saying, “We are all supporting you together and will continue supporting you for positive initiatives”.
