VTuber Ironmouse has raised $1 million for The Immune Deficiency Foundation days after announcing her departure from VShojo, following claims that the organisation had not paid $500,000 from a previous charity subathon to the same foundation.
On July 21, Ironmouse stated she was leaving VShojo, alleging the organisation had not transferred funds raised for The Immune Deficiency Foundation during her viral subathon.
The announcement prompted reactions across the VTuber community, with fellow creators including Kson, Projekt Melody and K9 Kuro announcing their own departures from the organisation.
By July 23, Ironmouse’s Tiltify campaign surpassed $1 million in donations. She posted on social media, stating, “I don’t really have words that can properly express how I feel. I feel like saying thank you to everyone is not enough, but thank you all so much for your kindness...”

The Immune Deficiency Foundation acknowledged the fundraiser, sharing a message from its president, Jorey Berry, who said, “Even in the midst of challenges, she thought of us before herself. What has been raised… is surreal. Overwhelming in the best possible way.”
Ironmouse has announced plans for a special live stream later in July to continue fundraising efforts for the charity. The Tiltify page has raised $1,126,002.55 at the time of writing.
