Man killed in tube well explosion
A room collapsed due to an explosion inside a tube well bore near Sanewali village in Motra-Badiana Road.
According to a rescue service spokesperson, the bore of a tube well had become clogged. In an attempt to clear it, a man poured acid into it. The chemical reaction caused a gas buildup, resulting in an explosion.
The force of the blast also caused the room built above the well to collapse. As a result, 28-year-old Bilal, who was working in the well, died on the spot.
Rescue 1122 recovered his body and handed it over to his family after necessary procedures.
Meanwhile, 21-year-old Ali, who was standing outside the well, sustained injuries.
