Runaway girl reunited with family

Qureshi Wala police recovered a 19-year-old girl from Islamabad after her parents had lodged an abduction case.

According to a spokesperson for police, the girl had left home after a disagreement with her family and traveled to Islamabad in search of employment.

Upon receiving the complaint, police initiated an investigation and used advanced mobile location tracking to trace her whereabouts. SHO Imran Umar led the operation and safely recovered the girl from Islamabad.

Following all legal procedures, she was presented before the court, where her statement was recorded. Subsequently, she was handed over to her parents. District Police Officer (DPO) Capt (R) Ali Bin Tariq praised the efforts of police, stated that ensuring the safety, dignity, and well-being of citizens was primary duty.

He said the police are committed to protecting societal values.
