Did Family Guy just compare Harry and Meghan to Hitler and the Crusades?

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have once again found themselves at the center of a brutal animated roast, this time from Family Guy, whose latest jab likened their relationship to some of history’s darkest moments. In a new episode, the show’s iconic duo Stewie and Brian travel back in time to meet author Mark Twain. The conversation takes a sharp turn when Brian declares that “history pretty much sucks,” listing Hitler, the Crusades… and Prince Harry’s marriage to Meghan.
The scene then cuts to Harry himself, watching the joke unfold on TV. With his trademark exasperated sigh, he groans, “Again?” before throwing shade at the audience: “Oh like all your wives are so much better?”
It’s not the first time the Sussexes have been targeted by the satirical series. In 2023, the show mocked them as Netflix-funded freeloaders. That portrayal painted them as clout-chasing royals cashing big checks for doing little. This latest episode seems to up the ante, doubling down on the show’s long-running ridicule.
The timing is awkward. Meghan has reportedly felt ‘overwhelmed’ by the string of jabs, while royal insiders whisper that lawyers may be quietly eyeing these portrayals. The internet hasn’t gone easy either, social media threads are ablaze, split between laughter and outrage.
Online fallout has been swift. The phrase “Hitler, Crusades, Markle” trended on X, and parody clips flooded TikTok. Royal watchers note this marks yet another cultural cold moment for the couple, public figures stripped of narrative control in real time.
Despite the relentless mockery, the couple remains silent. But in the court of public opinion, the takedown is gaining traction, and Meghan and Harry may not be able to laugh it off this time.
