‘Tron: Ares’ trailer explodes with AI takeover, Jeff Bridges returns

Disney has ignited fresh excitement among sci-fi fans with the official trailer drop for Tron: Ares, the long-awaited third installment in the iconic Tron franchise. The trailer not only confirms the return of Jeff Bridges but also unveils a dramatic new storyline centred around the collision of artificial intelligence and reality.

Unveiled globally on July 18, the trailer opens with a chilling new Nine Inch Nails track titled ‘As Alive As You Need Me To Be,’ setting the tone for the film’s techno-thriller aesthetic. Jeff Bridges reprises his role from the original Tron (1982) and Tron: Legacy (2010), while Jared Leto steps in as the lead, playing Ares, a powerful Program sent from the digital world into the real world.
