Fleetwood Mac fans are once again speculating about a possible reunion following cryptic social media posts from Stevie Nicks and Lindsey Buckingham.
On Thursday morning, both artists posted matching lyrics from their 1973 track “Frozen Love,” their only joint album before joining Fleetwood Mac.
“And if you go forward…” Nicks shared on X, followed 30 minutes later by Buckingham’s reply, “I’ll meet you there.” The lyric exchange quickly ignited hopes online, with long-time followers interpreting it as a potential sign of musical collaboration.

Adding to the intrigue, Mick Fleetwood posted an Instagram video on Wednesday featuring the same song, captioned, “It’s all in the song… It’s in the music that played on for so many years. It’s magic then, magic now. What a thrill.”
The posts arrive amid ongoing fan nostalgia for Fleetwood Mac’s classic lineup, which included Christine McVie until her passing in 2022. While Nicks has previously downplayed the idea of a reunion, citing McVie’s absence as irreplaceable, her recent interaction with Buckingham has reopened discussion.
Nicks told Vulture in 2023, “When Christine died, I figured we really can’t go any further with this. There’s no reason to.” She also noted the band had a “huge” and enjoyable tour in 2018-2019, even without Buckingham.
Currently, Nicks is on tour and working on a new solo album. No formal announcement has been made regarding a Fleetwood Mac reunion.
