Beyoncé's unreleased music stolen from choreographer’s SUV during Cowboy Carter tour in Atlanta

Unreleased music from Beyoncé was stolen from her choreographer’s rental SUV in Atlanta, according to a report released by city police on Monday. The theft reportedly took place on the night of July 8 in a parking area east of downtown.

Choreographer Christopher Grant told police that the trunk window of his Jeep Wagoneer was broken and two suitcases were missing. Inside the luggage were hard drives containing unreleased and watermarked music, performance footage plans, and both past and future set lists.

Grant, who was accompanied by a dancer for Beyoncé at the time, noted the break-in to authorities shortly after discovering the damage.

Cameras at the parking facility’s entrance reportedly captured the incident, and police later traced a laptop taken from the SUV. They also collected fingerprints from a second vehicle moving with a pair of AirPods believed to be stolen in the same theft.

Beyoncé’s team has not issued a statement regarding the stolen materials. The singer is scheduled to perform her fourth and final Atlanta show on Monday, adding to the urgency of the investigation.

Atlanta police said the larceny unit has secured an arrest warrant for a suspect, although no one has been taken into custody at this time. The identity of the individual has not been disclosed.
