Humaira's death investigated from four angles

Police have launched a comprehensive investigation after the decomposed body of model and actress Humaira Asghar was found in an apartment in Defence Phase VI, Ittehad Commercial.

DIG South, Asad Raza, reported that the incident is being investigated from four different angles. Speaking to The Express Tribune, he stated that the investigation is taking all possibilities into account, including murder, suicide, accident, or natural death.

He reported that the incident appears to be a case of natural death. However, the exact cause of death will be determined after the medical report. Officials reported that no significant evidence has yet been recovered from the deceased's phones, laptop, or personal diary.

A fitness instructor has been contacted regarding whether Humaira was using any medication for fitness purposes.

DIG South reported that the locks on the apartment door are functional from both inside and outside, however the door was not locked from the inside and so far, there is no evidence that it was bolted from the outside.

Notably, police officials said that a few months ago, the building watchman had informed other residents of a foul smell coming from the upper floors, but no one paid attention, due to which, Humaira's death went unnoticed for a long time.
