Jennifer Aniston is said to be ‘mortified’ over growing speculation that she is romantically involved with life coach and hypnotist Jim Curtis. According to a source speaking to Rob Shuter’s #ShuterScoop, the Friends star has privately apologised to Curtis for the attention he’s received, emphasising that “he didn’t sign up for this.”
The rumours gained momentum after the pair were photographed spending time together in Mallorca over the Fourth of July weekend, reportedly alongside Aniston’s longtime friends Jason Bateman and Amanda Anka. Prior to that, the duo was spotted dining at the luxury Ventana Big Sur resort in June.
Their most recent public appearance, aboard a lavish yacht in Spain, only intensified speculation, with paparazzi photos suggesting a display of affection. However, insiders insist the relationship is platonic and that fans are “reading too much into it.” One source told Shuter that while Aniston and Curtis are “affectionate,” they are not dating.
Aniston is reportedly maintaining a much tighter inner circle since her split from Justin Theroux in 2018, and is cautious about who she lets in. “He isn’t her partner,” the insider clarified, while also noting how Aniston often becomes the target of dating rumours whenever she’s photographed with a male friend.
Both Aniston and Curtis have remained silent publicly, but the source close to the actress hopes the gossip will fade. “She’s genuinely embarrassed,” the insider added.
