Elmo’s X account gets hacked, offensive posts target jews and accuse Donald Trump of cover-up

Elmo’s official X account was hacked, sharing antisemitic messages and accusations against Donald Trump.

The official X (formerly Twitter) account of Elmo was compromised on Sunday resulting in a string of offensive posts, including antisemitic messages and accusations against US President Donald Trump. The posts remained live for approximately one hour before being removed.

In one of the six posts, the hacker used Elmo’s trademark third-person voice to issue violent threats targeting Jewish people. Another post referred to Donald Trump as Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s “puppet,” citing claims about the Epstein files.

One message directly tagged Trump’s X account and read: “RELEASE THE FILES @realDonaldTrump CHILD F---ER,” referencing the alleged client list connected to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
