Man accused of gambling away wife

A woman from a village near Mian Channu has accused her husband of losing her in gambling.

In a complaint to the police, the woman claimed that her husband had attempted to send her to unknown men as part of the deal. The police have registered a case, while the suspect is on the run.

The complainant, Farzana Bibi, a resident of village 46/15-L near Mian Channu, alleged that her husband Nadeem had lost her in a gamble and then tried to hand her over to the men who had won.

She alleged that upon her refusal, Nadeem had thrashed her and their daughter.
