Two murder suspects netted

In a breakthrough, the Oghi police have arrested two main suspects involved in two separate attempted murder cases.

The first incident occurred on July 8, 2025, in the Jagi Payeen area within the jurisdiction of Oghi Police Station, where unknown assailants opened fire on a resident, leaving him critically injured. Acting swiftly, the police registered a case against unidentified suspects and launched a thorough investigation.

Mansehra District Police Officer (DPO), Shafiullah Gandapur, took serious notice of the incident and constituted a special investigation team under the supervision of Oghi Circle DSP, Waheed Khan.

He also issued immediate orders for the apprehension of those responsible. The team's efforts led to the arrest of two prime suspects Muhammad Usman, and Waseem Akram, both from Jagi and currently residing in Bajna.

During interrogation, the accused confessed to their involvement in another attempted murder case that took place three months earlier.
