"Maulana will get one general seat, and the PPP will get a reserved seat. If even one member exceeds the expected count, a vote of no confidence can be initiated," he added. When a journalist asked whether horse-trading would take place again, Kundi said the PPP is trying to prevent any horse-trading.
When asked if the parties would contest elections like an alliance just like they had contested the previous Senate elections under the PDM, the K-P governor said this was what they were trying to do. "We are trying to go into the elections jointly," he added.
Commenting on the security situation in the K-P, he said after nightfall extremist rule came out. He condemned the tragic killing of laborers in Balochistan on Thursday and said the entire nation must unite to bring peace.
"India is behind the acts of terror in Balochistan. After facing defeat militarily, India is intensifying terrorism. Afghanistan's soil must not be used by Israel and India. If our neighbour allows its land to be used by them, how can we have better relations? " he added.
