Two held in murder case

Police have arrested two main suspects in a murder case with the help of mobile phone locations, SP Model Town Ikhlaq Allah Tarar announced during a press conference.

The incident occurred on July 7 at noon in Khaliq Nagar area of Nishtar Colony police station, where Hanzala was shot dead by two motorcycle riders while he was sitting in a rickshaw outside his home.

SP Tarar told media representatives that Nishtar Colony police formed a special team after the murder and traced the suspects using CCTV footage and advanced technology.

The investigations revealed that the murder was motivated by a love triangle. The accused Shaban had a friendship with a girl named Mahir, while the victim Hanzala also wanted to befriend the same girl.

"Due to this rivalry, accused Shaban along with his accomplice Zain murdered the victim and fled from the scene," SP Tarar explained during the briefing.
