Nicki Minaj has spoken with Kai Cenat about joining Twitch as she considers expanding into streaming while weighing offers from Kick.

The rapper has shown interest in streaming and has previously discussed the possibility with Adin Ross, who has encouraged her to consider Kick.

Over recent years, several celebrities have explored streaming, with some launching their own channels to connect with fans, while others have appeared as guests. Kai Cenat has hosted many celebrity collaborations, including John Cena, Kevin Hart, and Nicki Minaj.

Minaj appears to be the closest to starting full-time streaming, having asked Kai Cenat for his perspective on Twitch and Kick during a phone call on his July 9 stream.

Kai highlighted the benefits of Twitch for discoverability, saying, “Twitch is just easier discoverability, and they’ll be able to find you easier. Kick is pretty good too, but it’s just fairly new, you know.”

When asked about Kick, Kai confirmed that the platform does offer contracts, stating, “They do do deals and stuff like that, yeah.”

Adin Ross, who has been encouraging Minaj to consider Kick, has suggested she would not need to censor herself on the platform. “You could just do that, be you and not have to worry about bans or any of that,” Adin said.

It remains unconfirmed if Nicki Minaj will start streaming and which platform she will choose.
