Justin Bieber has reached a multimillion-dollar settlement with former manager Scooter Braun following a financial dispute linked to the cancellation of his 2022 Justice tour. According to TMZ, the agreement requires Bieber to repay Braun’s Hybe company millions in owed funds.

An audit by PricewaterhouseCoopers had previously determined Bieber owed Braun over $8.8 million. The debt reportedly stemmed from a $26 million advance Bieber received from AEG for the Justice tour, which he later cancelled.

Braun stepped in at the time, covering that amount through Hybe. Bieber has now agreed to repay the full $26 million to Braun, along with half of an additional $11 million Braun claims he was owed in unpaid commissions.

“He stepped in to help him,” a source said of Braun’s decision to cover Bieber’s AEG loan in 2022.

The financial strain reportedly contributed to Bieber’s decision to sell his music catalogue in December 2022 for $200 million.

The settlement comes amid ongoing rumours surrounding Bieber’s finances. Though his net worth remains high, the repayment marks a significant chapter in what many view as a transitional period for the 31-year-old artist.
