“You don’t often see someone come out of the gate with a pen that feels immediately legendary,” Gaga wrote in an emailed statement to the magazine. “That’s Doechii to me.” She went on to describe falling in love with Doechii’s music, pointing to the raw power and honesty that define the rising star’s work.

Doechii’s breakout track ‘Anxiety,’ a deeply personal top-10 single, has resonated with fans around the world, including Gaga, who connected with the track’s themes of mental health and emotional struggle.
