Maggie Q’s morning secrets: Separate beds, dog hikes, and green juice

Maggie Q reveals her Zen morning routine in Hawaii, from juicing and hiking to sleeping apart from her partner.

Actress Maggie Q, 46, is opening up about her serene lifestyle in Hawaii and her mindful morning habits.

The Ballard star—headlining the Bosch spinoff on Prime Video premiering July 9—recently shared her full routine with PEOPLE’s “My Good Morning” series.

Living part-time in her native Hawaii with her partner of five years, Curtis, and their three dogs, Maggie starts her days early. “I wake up with the sun. I’m up at six,” she says. Her mornings prioritize peace, grounding, and wellness—beginning with lemon water, followed by nutrient-rich juices packed with ingredients like endive and cabbage.

Maggie revealed that she and Curtis sometimes sleep separately due to his snoring but always reconnect each morning with a warm hug. "Waking up in peace is very important,” she explains, adding that their mornings are filled with quiet and intention.

She walks barefoot, hikes solo with her dogs for up to five miles, and uses the time for what she calls a “moving meditation.” After the hike, she prepares homemade meals for her dogs using sprouted grains, boiled veggies, and raw meat.

Maggie avoids Botox and injections, opting for skincare made from wild-harvested herbs and natural products like Olaplex and Ash Botanicals. Her two-hour morning routine is not just a habit—it’s a philosophy of self-respect and balance, proving that even Hollywood stars benefit from slowing down.
