Radiologist caught filming patients

NCCIA investigators are continuing the probe

The National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency's (NCCIA) Rawalpindi Circle has arrested a radiologist and a ward servant from Kahuta Tehsil Headquarters Hospital for allegedly harassing female patients and secretly recording videos.

According to officials, an internal inquiry revealed that Shakil Ahmed (radiologist) and Zainul Abideen (ward servant) exploited their positions to engage in inappropriate conduct in the radiology ward.

Shakil allegedly behaved indecently with a female patient in the X-ray room, while Zainul Abideen secretly filmed the incident on his phone.

Analysis of seized electronic devices confirmed the presence of objectionable material and the involvement of both suspects in producing and sharing such content.

A case has been registered under the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act 2016 (PECA) and other relevant laws.

Officials said the incident represents a severe breach of public trust, medical ethics, and the misuse of government resources.

NCCIA investigators are continuing the probe.
