Jimmy ‘MrBeast’ Donaldson has stated he will continue helping people through his YouTube channel despite some critics labelling him “evil” for filming his charitable work.
MrBeast, known for his large-scale videos giving away cars, cash prizes and other support to participants, has also funded surgeries to cure blindness, built clean water wells and provided shoes to those in need. His charitable activities have reached millions, using his platform to highlight various causes.
However, he has faced criticism, with some arguing that he should not profit from his Beast Philanthropy channel or post videos of charity work. Donaldson has explained that uploading these videos allows him to fund further charitable efforts.
“It’s kind of crazy the amount of good we’ve been able to do through a YouTube channel,” MrBeast posted on X, alongside statistics of the financial support he has provided.
It is kind of funny that people who have never volunteered in their life or given a penny to charity will see this and make a 30 minute essay about how I’m evil 😭. No matter how much people complain I’ll never stop helping people. It’s fun 🥰
Responding to a supporter, MrBeast noted, “Instead of buying a mansion and 10 super cars, I used it to make content that helps people lol.”
Donaldson’s channel continues to grow, with plans for further investment to expand his projects.
