Eiza González shares tribute to Grigor Dimitrov after Wimbledon Injury: ‘You are beyond outstanding’

Eiza González showed public support for her boyfriend Grigor Dimitrov after the tennis star withdrew from Wimbledon due to injury.
The 34-year-old was forced to retire during his third set against Jannik Sinner on July 7 after hurting his right pectoral area following a backhand volley.
Dimitrov was leading two sets to love before deciding to exit the match, receiving a standing ovation from the crowd. Wimbledon’s official Instagram acknowledged the moment: “A sight we never want to see… Everyone at #Wimbledon is wishing you a speedy recovery, Grigor.
In response, González shared a heartfelt tribute on Instagram Stories. “Love of my life. I couldn’t be more proud of you. You are BEYOND outstanding,” she wrote. “This is just a moment that will pass and will make you even stronger. You’re a winner. We all saw it.”

She also commented on Wimbledon’s post: “A WINNER. He will build an even better story. Stronger inside and out.”
González and Dimitrov made their relationship Instagram official in May after being spotted together in Madrid a month earlier. At the time, she called him “the man of my dreams” and “my absolutely favourite human.”
The actress, known for her role in Ambulance, also told Extra in May that Dimitrov is “so sweet” and “always so supportive.”
