Tyla has confirmed that new music is on the way and possibly sooner than fans expected.

During her vibrant set on the Orange Main Stage at Poland’s Open’er Festival, the 23-year-old South African star took a moment between songs to hint at what’s next.

“You all need to catch up because there’s some new music coming very soon,” she said, introducing Breathe Me, which she described as her favourite track from her debut album Tyla, released last year.

She also shared a heartfelt message ahead of Priorities, telling the crowd, “This is basically just about prioritising yourself… and it’s something that I’ve been doing for a while now. I'm reminding my Tigers to do that every day, no matter what.”

Despite technical difficulties that affected her stage setup, including being unable to descend from a platform and having to run backstage to re-join her dancers, Tyla kept the energy high and the audience engaged. “I know I’m supposed to be professional,” she joked, “but the number of technical difficulties I’m having… we’re still having fun.”

Her performance marked a long-awaited return after she was forced to cancel her 2024 appearance at the festival due to injury. Grateful for the moment, she told the crowd, “I was very low today - my energy, my vibes. But I feel really good being here in Poland.”

Tyla's dynamic set, which included both male and female dancers, was met with a warm reception from fans, who she lovingly calls her ‘Tigers’. Sharing the line-up with acts like J. Balvin, Lola Young, and headliners Nine Inch Nails, Tyla stood out as a rising global force ready to take her music to the next level.
