Obsessed with ‘The White Lotus’, Emma Roberts wants a role - dead or alive

The actress says she’s ‘unwell’ from loving the HBO hit and is ready to play ‘just the body’ in season four.

Emma Roberts has made her White Lotus dreams known and she’s more than willing to be the next murder victim.

Speaking to PopSugar, the 34-year-old actress revealed her obsession with HBO’s darkly comedic series The White Lotus. “I'm unwell from The White Lotus,” Roberts joked. “I want to be on next season, but that's such a dumb thing to say because who doesn't?”

Eager to join the ensemble cast, Roberts said she’d take any role, even the most unfortunate one. “I’ll just be the body,” she quipped, referring to the series’ recurring plot device involving mysterious deaths.

Though Roberts only recently caught up with the show, she admits she’s completely hooked. “I'm always late to the party,” she said. “I always read and watch things after everyone's already talked about it… now I'm totally addicted.”

With a career spanning films like Palo Alto, Valentine’s Day, and We’re the Millers, Roberts has carved her own path in Hollywood, though she’s also been vocal about the pressures and misconceptions surrounding ‘nepo babies.’ As the niece of Julia Roberts and daughter of Eric Roberts, Emma knows the advantages and the downsides of having a famous family.

“People only see your wins… they don’t see all the rejection along the way,” she said on the Table for Two podcast. While her family ties opened some doors, Roberts insists that she’s had to prove herself repeatedly. “If people don’t have good experiences with your family, then you’ll never get a chance,” she added.

For now, Roberts is just hoping White Lotus creator Mike White gives her a chance, even if it’s face-down in a pool.
