Bike snatchers kill army jawan on resistance

A serving soldier of Pakistan Army, in civvies, was shot dead during a motorcycle-snatching incident in Khairpur district. The incident shows the alarmingly rising graph of crimes including robberies and kidnappings in the interior of Sindh including Sukkur and Larkana.

According to A-Section police, the martyred young soldier Hamadullah Soomro was shot when he resisted the snatching attempt on Wednesday night.

The assailants escaped after fatally wounding Soomro who breathed his last in Civil Hospital Khairpur. His relatives alleged non-availability of doctors delayed the medical aid to the soldier as a result he lost his life.
