
Global K-pop sensation BTS is preparing to release their first-ever live album, Permission to Dance on Stage – Live, along with a digital companion titled BTS Permission to Dance on Stage – Seoul.
The live album captures the energy of their massive Permission to Dance on Stage tour, which began as an online concert in October 2021 and later expanded into a worldwide arena spectacle. With 12 shows across Seoul, Los Angeles, and Las Vegas, the tour attracted over 4 million viewers both in-person and through virtual streams.

The album features 22 live tracks, including BTS’s chart-topping hits such as Dynamite, Butter, Life Goes On, Boy With Luv (featuring Halsey), and ON. These live versions mark the first official release of the songs performed in a concert setting, offering fans a chance to experience the dynamic sound and electrifying atmosphere of BTS's performances around the globe.
The Seoul-based digital companion piece provides an extensive look at the final leg of the tour, showcasing a 141-minute video from BTS's closing performance at Seoul’s Olympic Stadium in March 2022. Fans can also enjoy a 92-page interview photobook and behind-the-scenes content, accessible through a digital card unlocking high-definition VOD content on the Weverse platform.
BTS, who debuted in 2013, has broken numerous industry records and earned six No. 1 Billboard Hot 100 singles since 2020. The group has also been nominated for five Grammy Awards and won various accolades including Artist of the Year at the 2021 American Music Awards.
Permission to Dance on Stage – Live will be available worldwide on streaming platforms starting July 18, with pre-orders beginning July 1 through online and offline retailers.
