BTS member Suga has funded a new autism treatment centre with a personal donation of ₩5 billion (approx. $3.6 million) to Yonsei Severance Hospital. The new facility, named the Min Yoon Gi Treatment Center, will offer specialised services for children and adolescents with autism spectrum disorder.

The centre, announced on June 23, 2025, aims to support mental health through language, psychological, and behavioural therapy. It will also focus on programmes that blend clinical treatment with research-based methods.

Suga began planning this initiative in late 2024 after meeting with Professor Chun Geun Ah, head of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. Together, they developed the MIND programme, which stands for Music, Interaction, Network, and Diversity. This innovative model aims to improve communication skills, community integration, and public awareness of neurodiversity through music.

The new centre aspires to break stigma and provide long-term pathways for children with autism to thrive as independent members of society.

The treatment centre is expected to open its doors with integrated care offerings in the near future.

News of Suga's initiative broke days after he officially completed his mandatory military service, concluding his duties as a social service agent and being formally discharged on June 21 . He is the final member of BTS to finish conscription, paving the way for a full-group reunion.
