Wardrobe mishap occurs during Bezos and Sánchez wedding celebration in Venice
Vittoria Ceretti experienced a fashion mishap at Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez’s lavish wedding celebration in Venice on June 28, 2025.
The Italian model wore a Dolce and Gabbana gown, originally from the fall–winter 2003/04 collection, to the event’s themed party.
In a series of Instagram Stories, Ceretti revealed that the dress suffered a tear during the evening. She shared lighthearted captions showing the before-and-after of the gown, writing “how it started” over an elegant photo and “how it’s going” above a picture of the expanding rip.
The same dress was previously worn by Gisele Bündchen at the 2003 Met Gala. Some observers speculated that alterations to the archival piece, combined with the evening’s festivities, may have contributed to the malfunction.
Leonardo DiCaprio, Ceretti’s partner, attended the celebration as well, keeping a low profile in a dark suit and baseball cap.
The Venice-based event drew many high-profile guests and also sparked some public protest over overtourism.
