That’s So Raven’s Anneliese van der Pol is expecting her first baby, a girl, with husband Johnno Wilson this October.

Anneliese van der Pol, best known for her role as Chelsea on Disney Channel’s That’s So Raven, is expecting her first child with husband Johnno Wilson.

The couple, who met on the set of Raven’s Home, confirmed to PEOPLE that they are preparing to welcome a baby girl in October 2025.

Van der Pol, 40, shared the news in an exclusive interview, revealing that the couple found out the baby’s gender during a golf-ball reveal that burst into pink powder. “I didn’t realize how much I wanted a girl until he swung and it went pink,” she said. Despite early plans to remain child-free, the couple changed their minds last summer and were about to begin IVF treatments before learning they had conceived naturally.

The two Disney alums tied the knot in December 2024. Wilson, who also stars in Twisted Metal on Peacock, added that the decision to start a family came after regular conversations about life goals. “I highly recommend checking in with each other every few years,” he said.

Van der Pol described her pregnancy as peaceful so far, crediting family and friends for helping them set realistic expectations. She noted experiencing typical pregnancy symptoms like cravings and baby movements, saying, “I think we have another dancer on our hands.”

The couple has been preparing for their new arrival using Babylist for their registry. “It’s been a game-changer,” Wilson said.
