Mayor Murtaza Wahab has claimed that overall situation of the city is under control, all departments are working efficiently, and every effort is being made to ensure that citizens do not face any kind of inconvenience. He expressed these views on Saturday during his visit to different areas of the city.
He said, all municipal representatives, staff, and machinery are present on the roads, and immediate action is being taken wherever complaints are received.
Mayor said, he is in constant coordination with the Sindh Solid Waste Management Board, Water Corporation, and other relevant institutions, and all complaints received are being promptly addressed.
On the other hand, the MQM Pakistan's Central Committee has expressed deep concern over the situation in Karachi and Sindh following the recent rainfall, conveying condolences for the lives lost and property damaged.
