Downpour, flooded tracks delay trains

The Millat Express bound for Lala Musa departed at around 6:30pm instead of 4:45pm

Train arrivals and departures from Karachi to other parts of the country have been delayed by one to two hours due to ongoing monsoon rains and adverse weather conditions.

The Pakistan Express, departing from Karachi to Rawalpindi, left 45 minutes late at 2:45pm instead of the scheduled 2pm. Meanwhile, the Shah Hussain Express and Millat Express were delayed by approximately one-and-a-half hours.

According to details, several trains departing from Karachi have faced delays across the country due to heavy rain and poor weather. The Allama Iqbal Express to Sialkot departed at 4:40pm, an hour and ten minutes later than the scheduled time of 3:30pm. The Pak Business Express to Lahore left at 5:45pm instead of 4:00pm, delayed by an hour and forty-five minutes.

The Millat Express bound for Lala Musa departed at around 6:30pm instead of 4:45pm, facing a delay of roughly one-and-a-half hour. The Shah Hussain Express to Lahore left at 10:30pm instead of 9:00pm, also delayed by one-and-a-half hours.

A spokesperson for Pakistan Railways urged passengers to contact their nearest railway station or helpline before travelling to receive the latest updates.
