Dua Lipa and Callum Turner are officially engaged, but wedding bells aren’t ringing just yet. The couple, who sparked romance rumors in early 2024, are taking their time to enjoy their new chapter together. Lipa, 29, confirmed the engagement in a recent interview and revealed that Turner, 35, had the ring custom-designed with help from her sister and close friends. “I’m obsessed with it,” she said. “It’s so me.”
The pair aren’t rushing to the altar. A source told People that while the couple has talked seriously about their future, they haven’t begun planning the wedding. “They’re still in that celebratory bubble,” the source said, adding that Lipa is focused on her Radical Optimism tour while Turner is tied up with filming commitments.
Despite their packed schedules, the couple remains close and connected. “They’re taking things at their own pace, and that’s exactly how they want it,” the source noted. The couple met at London’s River Café and bonded later over a shared love for the novel Trust by Hernan Díaz. They made their relationship public in January 2024 and were seen together at Glastonbury and the Met Gala, where fans noticed the engagement ring.
While Lipa admits she never imagined what kind of bride she’d be, she’s now finding herself thinking, “Oh, what would I wear?” But for now, the couple is content being engaged and enjoying every moment of it.
