The Punjab Overseas Pakistanis Commission (OPC) has resolved 90 per cent of police-related complaints filed by expatriates, while the relevant district committees across the province have recorded an 80% performance rate.
Officials reported the figures during a meeting Chaired by Punjab OPC Commissioner Saman Rai on Wednesday to review the status of complaints from expatriates, particularly those involving law enforcement and administrative challenges. The commissioner said strategies were being developed at both the national and international levels to support expatriate communities and ensure the sustainable resolution of issues related to them.
Director General Ahmar Naik said all DCs had been directed to expedite the pending complaints.
