Six die in two road accidents

One-and-a-half-year-old child survived the accident with minor injuries.

ISLAMABAD:

Six people including four women were killed in a two road accidents in Mansehra on Tuesday, rescuers and police said. In the first incident, a car fell into a deep ravine near Kaghan Lari, resulting in the death of a man and his wife from Hazro, Attock.

Their one-and-a-half-year-old child, who was also in the vehicle, survived the accident with minor injuries. Kaghan Development Authority (KDA)'s emergency unit retrieved the bodies and rescued the injured child, who was later shifted to Kaghan Hospital for medical treatment.

In another incident, a jeep carrying passengers from Sundi to Jabori met with an accident near Kin Chajjri area.

The police reported that the jeep's brakes failed, causing it to plunge into a ravine. As a result, four women lost their lives and six others sustained injuries.
