Viral teen adviser “Big Balls” resigns from government following Musk’s exit
Edward Coristine, the 19-year-old tech whiz and self-branded “Big Balls” has officially resigned from his federal post. The teen, who went viral for his audacious LinkedIn nickname and Musk-approved rise, was part of the “Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE)”, a cost-cutting agency revived under Elon Musk’s brief stint in government.
Coristine’s exit was confirmed by a White House official. No reason was given, but it follows closely on the heels of Musk’s own departure.
A software developer and former Neuralink intern, Coristine had surprisingly wide access across federal departments, despite having once registered a company called Tesla.Sexy LLC. His résumé turned heads; so did his style.
Whether he was a tech prodigy or just very online, Coristine's government chapter is now closed.
One thing’s clear, this might be the first time a government adviser trended for his LinkedIn name.
