Construction worker electrocuted

A construction worker was electrocuted after coming into contact with high-voltage power lines.

The deceased has been identified as 52-year-old Aslam. The incident took place on Baradari Road. Aslam was reportedly working on a roof slab when he accidentally touched an 11,000kV electric wire passing overhead, resulting in instant death due to electrocution.

Shahdara police reached the scene and shifted the body to a morgue for post-mortem examination. Legal proceedings have been initiated to determine the circumstances.
